My name is Kayden I am 10 years old at the time of writing this. I live in Eastbourne, East Sussex or should I say I  am 10 and my Dad is the one writing this on my behalf (I love having parents and being young " he still makes spelling mistakes though lol).

 

Since the age of 6 I have had a strong passion and drive for making things from old things and I also have enjoyed making connexions and learning about the world. I am keen and enthusiastic child like most and for the last 4 years me and my family took upon a journey to better the chances of homeless people getting help and services adaption to support the needs of the growing help needed today. I first began my journey with my dad drawing out a support lamp post idea, quickly forming into a service out of hours providing sleeping bags, food and advice and support ( my dads phone rings all the time for help). We use to get up at 6 am to go and wake some up with a morning coffee and bacon roll, and sometimes we even went out past my bed time to give people a tent who were getting wet because it was raining and there tent broke (Daddy always made sure it was safe for me to go first as some people are scary). It has been nice to see people smile and have lots of friends + it has been a nice thing to do when its needed most. Me and my dad always have enjoyed busses and big vehicles as we both collected models and had lots of RC toys. Sometimes mummy says I wonder who the child is in our house.

 

One day over dinner me mum and dad spoke and we wanted to do more to help the homeless, and I know my dad was there once before I was born and I know that when we are sat here in the warm there were others in the cold, this really upset me. We all dreamed of a big house but my penny jar and Mummy's and Daddy's just wasn't enough to be able to do this. So we had to rethink.. We got it me and daddy wanted a bus and I  remember mummy saying you to are silly and so we begun looking at busses and found the isle of wight bus shelter and that was it a family decision leading to a prayer and a drive to get this bus a rusty heap of junk daddy wanted. Me and daddy with mummy's through the stress, we all helped build a website. Me and daddy begun learning about branding and content and talking to lots of people and then one day after we were all about to give up, then a phone call and now we have billy our Irish bus with a difference. It has been mad but my dad stays committed and mummy does lots no body sees to help me and Daddy. It has been really hard and I don't like to see my dad upset as he really tries and he believes in me so much. My mum on the other hand has been a rock she has built an online market place to support Charites in loads of different ways making use of others rubbish and giving hope to the community with recycling and helping those in need across the whole of the UK.

 

As well as all this I have fundraised for meningitis now, The MS society and West Sussex mediation, children in need, help for hero's, poppy appeal, children with cancer as well as our own organisations and I have decided to create my own idea from my life's experience of a ten year old. I hope you like my website and enjoy seeing it grow as I grow up in life.
